Eclectic accents include original photography and artwork, a cook's kitchen, and a comfy outdoor lounge with BBQ. A private, light filled, open plan living area is perfect for a relaxing get away. Calming colours have been carefully selected to create a cool yet relaxed colour pallet that softly engulfs you the moment you enter the space. Stay tucked up inside on the sofa and watch the smart TV with the use of the unlimited wifi provided, and the addition of a private courtyard lets you relax with a cool drink on the comfortable outdoor lounge. The master bedroom has a sitting area to give guests an opportunity to capture a rare moment of alone time to read or sneak in some work time while the other guests are enjoying the beach or simply just hanging out. The second bedroom has room to sleep three featuring bottom bunk as double bed with a single on the upper level. Both bedrooms have vanity mirrors and built in wardrobes with coat hangers. Access all areas with the exception of the owners storage cupboard in the second bedroom. We will respect your privacy and leave you to enjoy your stay. The beautiful surf beach of Mermaid is practically on the doorstep. Along the way and almost as close are two premium eateries, Le Café Gourmand and Little Mermaid. A little further away is Bam Bam Bakehouse, with amazing pastries and coffee. Also conveniently located within walking distance Pacific Fair shopping centre and the Broadbeach shopping and dining precinct. A very short walk to the Gold Coast bus and light rail system! The 700 bus along the Gold Coast Highway offers direct transportation services to Coolangatta, Tugun, Currumbin, Burleigh Heads, Miami, Mermaid and the Broadbeach South station is in front of Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. The G:Link light rail, also located at the Broadbeach South station directly in front of Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, will easily and quickly transport you to the most popular areas of Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise and Southport. If you are travelling from Coolangatta Airport Mermaid 24 is about 25 minutes via Taxi/Uber or by Bus take Number 777 to the Mermaid Beach stop. Mermaid 24 is located within an original 1960's apartment complex on the beachside of Mermaid Beach, being at the back of the complex you have access to the beach via the back easement. Open the door to this inviting sanctuary complete with dramatic views from the floor to ceiling windows and wraparound balcony. Entirely surrounded by glass, the bathrooms and service spaces are open plan with the ability to close them off completely creating internal cubes within the house. Living in this house is a spectacular experience! There is on site parking on the ground floor. The apartment is located on the first floor and is part of two separate living pavilions. Family members live in the other pavilion about 15 metres away from the apartment. One of my trusted friends will check you in and answer any questions. I am always available through Airbnb messages if anything pops up! The apartment is located in the Mudgeeraba hills overlooking the Gold Coast. It is a short drive to the beach and less than an hour to the waterfalls of Tambourine Mountain, Springbrook National Park and Lamington National Park. We’re located in the hinterland so you’ll need a car to get around. You will see the sunrise and sunset even if the blinds are down! As we are surrounded by trees sometimes the local birds can be a bit noisy in the mornings. The house is self sufficient and uses 100% collected rainwater and a bio wastage system. We ask that you try not to waste water and that you avoid using harmful products that could damage the bio-waste system. Thank you!

Perfect staycation or work from home spot. Ground floor apartment is located in a quiet area yet so close to EVERYTHING. There is only 1 other apartment in the building. NO Schoolies accepted.
