Fernances Creek Farm is one hour north of Sydney in the picturesque Wollombi Valley. Ten minutes from Laguna with the Watagan Mountains and Yengo National Park on our doorstep. The Hunter Valley vineyards start here, with Broke & Pokolbin vineyards 45 minutes away. We are a Haflinger Horse stud on 210 acres, with show jumping and eventing facilities. Great for couples and families, the Back Forty Solar Cottage is a fully featured off grid solar home with all of the comforts and space to relax.

The waterfront is a close walk. Kantara Chapel is just around the corner, close venue for bridal group/family. Bring the boat to fish the Brisbane waters or take in many board walks and national parks in the area. We are onsite sometimes during the year in granny flat dependent on season and our travels.

Self-contained with two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other has your choice of king or twin beds. A large living area with a slow combustion wood burning fire and reverse cycle air-conditioning. The bedrooms have ceiling fans and electric blankets for cool winter nights. Equipped kitchen with stove top, oven, microwave and full size fridge. There's a BBQ on your own outdoor balcony, where you can enjoy the glorious view of the sun setting over the vineyard. The newly renovated cottage sleeps 6 people, with all linen supplied. The cottage provides all of your basic essential needs along with TV, reverse cycle air-con, washing machine and dryer, toaster and kettle, microwave, BBQ, wood fireplace, outdoor setting and on the cold winter nights bon fire area.
