AIRD VILLA, Scalpay, on the Isle of Harris

Aird Villa with its south facing decking is said to be one of the nicest houses on the Isle of Scalpay. It sits overlooking Scalpay’s quiet North Harbour where the local fishing boats are moored. From the decking it's exhilarating watching the birds & boats as you are more or less right above the water's edge. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and is comfortable, light, spacious & warm. It has a modern clean feeling coupled with the charm of a traditional Scalpay island home.

Situated above pretty Fiscavaig Bay with direct access to the beach through our croft and close to popular attractions the Talisker Distillery and the Fairy Pools.

Situated on a slope with vantage of uninterrupted views, within walking distance of the village centre and its two renowned restaurants and only a 15 minutes’ drive from Portree, it is excellently positioned for exploring the Isle of Skye. Indigo has retained many of its original features, filled with charm and character, and feels especially cosy with the log burner on.

Well maintain Hebridean cottage style property, on the east coast of Harris. The cottage is set up cosy for summer or winter with electric heating soft brush cotton bedding and throws. Great for viewing the star lit nights no light pollution with no street lights. Excellent area for getting off the beaten track close enough to Leverburgh for trips to St Kilda and all other amenities. Cottage on the shoreline with lovely bay. The east side of Harris is single track roads with passing places.

This romantic , detached hideaway is situated on the northern coast of the island. A modernized "old black house" which was fully renovated in 1997 to a great standard. Surrounded by open land on a crofting community with sea views out to the outer Hebrides.
